Ladies, it’s time.

No more excuses, procrastination or shoulder-shrugging. Spend a little time on your retirement savings now, and thank yourself later.

I’m gonna be honest, I was a little bit disappointed with y’all this week. I made a poll on Insta to see if people wanted a webinar on super. Everyone was like ‘yes bitch, hit me up with the super love!’.

But when it came time to register? Crickets. Like, the most unpopular webinar so far, despite all my marketing.

And I get it. Superannuation is not the most exciting way to spend a Wednesday night when The Bachelor and The Voice are on.

But the reason I persist is that IT MATTERS. Superannuation is going to a) be one of your biggest assets and b) make a massive difference to your life in retirement.

Even though it’s easy to ignore your super, it can come back to bite you in the butt. There is a big discrepancy between the best and the worst super fund products, and the difference at retirement can be hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Here’s the thing though. It’s not that hard to fix. It is easier than ever to compare super fund fees and performance, and then it just takes a few simple steps to switch (if you decide to).

Luckily, I recorded the webinar so you can listen to it right here. Just 45 min of your life, ok?

To give you a sneak peek, it goes through the five levers you can pull to boost your retirement savings. And my friends at Super Fierce even worked out how much extra money this puts in your bank account by the time you retire.

By the way, if you couldn’t be bothered putting in much effort to this at all, head on over to Super Fierce, which is an amazing fintech start-up that crunches the numbers for you, and recommends a lower-cost fund. (I don’t get paid to say this, I just love it.) Super Fierce founder, Trenna, makes a guest appearance on the webinar.

Figures refer to additional retirement income (in today’s spending power, ie the impact of inflation removed), and using today’s 26 year old with average income and super balance, average retirement age and work patterns. Source: Super Fierce

I have written about super a lot on this blog, so if you want to read more check these out:
